  5. though subsets are not forbidden.

  7. For a language to be considered a subset,
  8. it must have the property that any valid \term{program} in that language
  9. has equivalent semantics and will run directly
  10. (with no extralingual pre-processing, and no special compatibility packages)
  11. in any \term{conforming implementation} of the full language.
  12. A language that conforms to this requirement shall be described
  13. as being a ``subset of \clisp\ as specified by ANSI \metavar{standard number}.''
